It Starts With a Handshake

As a Cultural Ambassador, I have travelled across the U.S. since 2007 speaking at events, meeting valuable contacts, and sharing Shawnee culture- past and present. My Mission is to expose people to the vibrant and living cultures of the Shawnee and other Tribal Nations, and encourage them to connect with the beautiful and resilient communities living here in the U.S. today.

I believe there is significant potential in these interactions to change the direction of our history and create a new way of seeing American Indian people in the modern world.

National Association of Interpretation Keynote Speaker

Cleveland, November 2022

Very excited to be a part of this excellent organization!

I will be the Keynote speaker for the National Association of Interpretation National conference this year.

I became a CIG (certified Interpretive Guide) in 2017, while I was working for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. The training brought a new understanding of communication skills and helped me develop an understanding of how to connect with people I had never met. I am glad to see more interest in the interpretive world to connect and collaborate with Tribal communities, and hope to see more Tribal people rise to answer the calls for opportunities these organizations create.

Learn More about NAI
